How I Work
I take a laid back approach on purpose. I move through your day quietly, paying attention to everything, especially the moments you weren't even aware of. I'll chime in when I need to, then get out of the way and let your day unfold.
I shoot on both digital and 35mm film to preserve the details whole also providing that warmth and texture only film gives you. The intentionality of shooting on film, slowing down before pressing the shutter, carries into how I approach everything I create.
Why i do what i do
I photograph intimate weddings and elopements because small, intentional days produce the most honest photos I've ever made. When the pressure is gone and the guest list is short, people stop performing and start being present. That's when the real stuff happens, and that's what I'm here for.
I work with couples in Kansas City, across Missouri, and anywhere else your day takes you. An elopement in the Ozarks, a destination ceremony that requires a passport, or a courthouse ceremony followed by pizza in bed. All of it is worth documenting beautifully.
Meet Morgan
I'm Morgan, a Kansas City photographer with a background in psychology and a soft spot for the couples who tell me they're not really "photo people." My husband and I eloped in Santa Barbara, so I understand firsthand what it means to want a wedding day that's completely yours. I bring that same intention to every couple I photograph.
