Your wedding day is going to move fast. There will be moments you want to hold onto forever, the way your partner looked at you, the laugh that broke out mid-vow, the quiet in-between seconds nobody else noticed. My job is to be present enough to catch all of it and invisible enough that you forget I'm there.
I photograph Kansas City weddings that feel real. Not over-directed, not styled to look like someone else's Pinterest board. Just true to you and rooted in who you actually are.
How I Work
I'll know your timeline and priorities before the day arrives, and I stay in touch leading up so nothing feels rushed or last minute. On the day itself I take a laid back approach, more fly on the wall than director. I'm there to document what actually happens, not choreograph it.
Digital and 35mm Film
My editing style is film-inspired and slightly moody, always true to color so your memories look exactly like the day felt. I also incorporate 35mm film into the weddings I photograph because that intentionality, slowing down before pressing the shutter, carries into everything I create.
Made For Smaller Guest Lists
My work is best suited for intimate weddings, micro weddings, and celebrations where the guest list was chosen on purpose. When there are fewer people in the room, the moments get bigger. The attention is on you, not on managing a crowd, and that's exactly where I do my best work.
