Hi Friends!

I’m Morgan, but you can call me Morgs! I’m a Kansas City wedding and elopement photographer, specializing in intimate micro weddings, elopements, and engagement sessions, both here in KC and wherever your love story takes you.

If you've landed here, you're probably the kind of couple who doesn't want a photographer barking poses at you all day. You want someone who makes the whole thing feel easy, who captures what you actually look like when you're laughing too hard or holding each other's hands for the first time as a married couple. That's exactly what I'm here for.

Kansas City is home, but travel has always been part of my life. My husband is from San Diego, which means we find ourselves back in California often. We eloped in Santa Barbara, and that experience is a big reason why intimate weddings and elopements hold such a special place in my heart. I know firsthand how meaningful it is to choose a day that feels intentional, personal, and completely your own.

When I'm not behind the camera, I'm usually traveling, snuggled up with our dogs and cat, or deep into a rewatch of something I've already seen way too many times. My husband is also my second shooter, which means the people capturing your day actually genuinely like each other.

What Working With Me Actually Looks Like

Most couples tell me they were nervous about being photographed. By the end of their session, they forget I'm there.

That's not an accident. I've built my entire approach around making people feel calm, comfortable, and like themselves in front of a camera. No stiff posing. No awkward direction. Just you, your person, and real moments that happen to be beautifully documented.

My couples look genuinely happy in their photos because they are.

Why I Gravitate Toward Intimate Weddings and Elopements

My husband and I eloped in Santa Barbara. We wanted a day that felt intentional and completely ours, without the noise of a 150-person guest list. Plus the logistics of getting both of our families into one place were more than we cared to deal with. That experience changed how I see weddings entirely.

I understand firsthand what it feels like to choose a smaller, more personal day. The calm of it. The presence of it. The way every moment feels like it actually belongs to you. That's what I want to capture for couples who are making the same choice.

Elopements and micro weddings aren't a lesser version of a wedding. They're often a braver, more intentional one.

Based in Kansas City.

Open to Everywhere.

Kansas City is home base, but I photograph elopements and intimate weddings across the country and internationally. California, the Pacific Northwest, the mountains, abroad. If a location is calling you, let's talk about it.

Destination elopement coverage is available for couples who want a photographer who's a travel pro and will treat the whole experience like the adventure it is.

Let's See If We're a Good Fit

I work best with couples who care more about the experience than a checklist. Who are choosing a smaller, more intentional day on purpose and who want photos that feel real.

If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear about what you're planning!
