A rustic barn wedding scene with elegant floral arrangements and natural light streaming through wooden slats.

Micro weddings are one of my favorite types of celebrations to photograph! They’re small, personal, and focused on the love between two people and those closest to them. As someone who eloped (and had our photographer sign as our witness!), I know firsthand how special these intimate celebrations can be!

This micro wedding was everything I love about them. With just a handful of guests on a Wednesday afternoon, it was short and sweet but overflowing with love.

The couple jetted off the very next day to Iceland for their honeymoon (how fricking cool?!), proving that a wedding doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful.

To me, that’s the beauty of micro weddings and elopements—stripping away the excess and focusing on the connection.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s more about the love and less about the production, a micro wedding might be exactly what you’re looking for. And let me tell you, I’d be thrilled to be there to capture it!
